Barry is an engineering graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy where he served his country as an officer in the U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps.  He resigned his active duty commission to pursue postgraduate studies at The Wharton School where he received his MBA degree dual majoring in finance and entrepreneurial management.  Recruited by Rochester Tel Corporation, Barry worked in investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and financial management roles before leaving to join a startup software construction firm called ICS Information Technologies out of Vienna, Virginia.

During his time at ICS, Barry successfully led marketing, requirement, design, and implementation teams that delivered international and multi-lingual telecommunication billing systems to clients in the United States and Finland.  Leaving ICS, Barry joined SHL Systemhouse.  During his eight-year tenure with this company and all it’s successors, (MCI Systemhouse, Worldcom and EDS), Barry lead a wide variety of enterprise-wide projects for clients in banking, aerospace, technology, software, and professional service industries.

Barry founded BRS Consulting Inc. and started working with small business and start up ventures.  He became an equity partner in a couple of real estate ventures and also co-founded NavSafe Systems LLC before joining the staff of St. Petronille Parish as their Business Manager.   Recently Barry decided to enter into the faith-based group travel business after organizing and hosting a pilgrimage tour through France, Spain and Portugal.  Over the years Barry has been active as an officer, advisor, and participant in various community, ministry, and fund raising initiatives.  His mission in life is to change the world for the better, one person at a time.
